Emergency and Scam Safety

The Sheriff’s tip page says current crimes should go to 911 or the Sheriff or deputy phone, not wait for an online form. The homepage warns that the Sheriff’s Office will not call about a warrant or an alternative release option. Independently dial the official number. Do not use gift cards, cryptocurrency, unfamiliar payment links, or a caller’s urgent instructions.

For federal matters, use the Eastern District of Oklahoma. For Choctaw Nation Tribal Court matters, use the tribal court’s own process. A state county contact cannot certify or clear either separate system.
